The Philosophy of a Single Dungeon

There's a special kind of power in grinding one dungeon until the main quest is a distant rumour. This isn't about being optimal in the abstract — it's about being reliably stronger the day after tomorrow, forever, without ever touching the story.

  • One dungeon, mastered, beats ten half-explored.
  • Repetition is the point. The comfort IS the reward.
  • Sweat optional; consistency mandatory.

Pick Your Dungeon

Choose the grind you could do in your sleep — because you will, eventually. Best candidates are short, spammable, and drop something you actually use.

  • Short clear time (under 5 minutes is ideal).
  • A loot table that feeds your build, not just your wallet.
  • Stable, escapable — no wipe-heavy maze you dread.

The Loop: Farm, Check, Upcycle

The sacred loop is three beats, repeated until the story is a rumour: run the dungeon, sort the haul, upgrade the gear. Tracking it as a checklist keeps the detour honest.

My farming loop0/5 · 0% progress
  • Set a weekly dungeon target
  • Run the dungeon 3x per session
  • Sort loot into keep / sell / craft
  • Upgrade one piece of gear
  • Log what dropped (so you know what to hunt)
Keep vs sell rule of thumb: if you don't use it now and it doesn't upgrade your current piece, it's safe to sell — once you've kept one of everything for a rainy day.

How Sweaty Is This, Really?

Community-guides carry a cozy lens: a rough time budget and a sweaty-score, so nobody walks into a 'quick farm' that's actually a 40-hour commitment. This one is casual-to-medium: great background activity while you're in voice.

  • Time to 'comfy overpowered': ~4–6 sessions.
  • Constant attention needed: no — it's a chill loop.
  • Detour risk: high. The 10-minute rule WILL be broken. We know better.
